Transportation to Honolulu International Airport
A shuttle service called the Airport Waikiki Express provides coach
service from the Honolulu International Airport to hotels in Waikiki.
Coaches leave every half hour and tickets cost $8 per person.
A city bus also runs from the Honolulu Airport to Waikiki. Tickets
cost $2.25 per person. Only small suitcases and hand baggage is permitted on
the bus. Travel time to Waikiki is 45 to 60 minutes, depending on
traffic conditions.
